Food is a direct reflection of each individual or society's social, cultural, and economic background. In the first picture, food coupons are used to buy cheerios, corn flakes, and concentrated grape juice. Those who rely on coupon or food stamps face economic situation. They have no choice but to depend on government subsidies that came from taxes. Others like people in third world countries crave for government assisted ration. Their circumstance won't allow for three meals a day. They need help from the government and society. This demonstrate the social, cultural, and economic background of these people. When we throw away the unfinished dish in a restaurant or criticize the taste of certain food, there are millions of people who crave for the unwanted food. Food is a representation of social phenomenon and it brings awareness of the society to those in help.
